I made the Amy Butler pj pants, but without the drawstring. I'm all about elastic. They were a cinch to make - can't wait to make another pair.

you sure had a super productive weekend! every new project is yours.  Smiley

these look good. i'm scared to try clothes (i'm new to sewing) but the appeal of more comfy pj pants might be enough to make me take the plunge!

Those look so comfy! That print is awesome.

I always look through Amy Butler's book when I'm at Borders, and most of the projects seem cool. I haven't checked out the actual patterns though, and I've never used any of her patterns before. Would you recommend buying it?

Yes - I checked the book out from the library 2 or 3 times before I bought it. I've made the kimono robe twice and plan to make the lounge pants again. So far I've found her instructions to be straight forward. Hope that helps!
