Thank you both!  I really love Noro, my only complaint is the gauge of the yarn, itself.  one second its fluffy and fat and the next its skinny like thread.  I think next time I have the cash to spend on Noro I'm going to try felting it.

That's lovely! You've chosen great lining fabric too Smiley

How many skeins of Noro did it take you?

Owly-  Thanks!  i had to purchase 2 of the noro.  BUT then when i was almost done I realized i needed a bit more to finish up.  I only used about another 3-5 Yards.   I was a bit mad about that at first.  Thank the Gods, my friend is making this wicked cool blanket with many, many skeins of Noro.  She just so happened to have the same color and dye lot (we shop at the same LYS) so she let me have what I needed and i returned the rest.  You could use the rest for a little coin purse or maybe a cell phone cozy.  Unless you crochet a bit tighter than I do than maybe you would only need 2 skeins.

Thanks for the info Smiley I made one with another yarn and started running out...I was contemplating doing the top band in another colour, but then I ended up doing the top bands slightly short and stretching the heck out of them - luckily it worked!
