The wands look so great along with everything else!  I am getting up as I speak to go make my own. Thanks for the link to the tutorial.

(It is so fantastic of you to give them away for donations to charity!)

Fantastic Luna accessories! I like your interpretation of her necklace I just made a strand of corks for  mine. And that bolero excellent! It's really very Luna-esque. I may take your idea and make one for my own Luna costume ...

Excellent buttons, by the by.

Very nice! I love the bolero-- it drapes very nicely. What yarn did you use? I made a crochet one here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=184172.0 But the color is wrong. Love the earrings, too. And the neclace is fabulous!

Pants: did you paint them? Are they the red ones with the flowers?

I'm very interested, as I'm planning my own costume. You are flipping awesome!

Wow everyone, thanks for all the replies and nice comments!

So I feel pretty dumb right now because I forgot to ask my coworker to email the pictures to me. I don't think I'll see her again until Thursday Sad.

The pants were modeled after those red flower ones kind of - they're the same sort of style, but in a purple and green fabric that I already had. I didn't paint them though.

The bolero is Bernat Satin in Star Dust.

I had seen some pictures of strands of cork necklaces, but cork was more expensive than I thought it would be at Michaels! I also thought it would be more comfortable to wear while I was working Smiley

I can't wait to see it all together!  Cheesy
I love Luna, and I loved all her costumes in OotP.

Everything you made looks fantastic! And it's so nice of you to make buttons for the kids and get the donations for charity!

(One thing, because I'm a nerd: on the tutorial site for the wands it says

OK, I took some blurry in the mirror shots of the pants...

Sorry they are kinda wrinkly and blurry... and my house is a mess - I'm in the middle of cleaning the guinea pig cages, so I had to crop hay and poo out of the bottom of the pictures Wink.

So, anyway - the pants!

I was going to put in an elastic waist, but ran around the house searching for thick elastic for hours and hours before I gave up and decided to just sew on ties. I had to wear a big long t-shirt and the bow looked all poofy underneath so that wasn't good, but I think elastic may have looked weirder. Of course pretty much as soon as I got home from wearing the costume, I found the jar of elastic hiding behind a box that I'm sure I looked behind at least a dozen times while hunting. Oh well.

I also realize now that you can't see the fabric very well, so I'll go take a close-up of it.

And the shoes - I just put new laces in my old sneakers... kinda like my own take on the ones Luna wore in the movie:

Thanks again for all the compliments!
