I made my first ever amigurumi! It's an Amineko cat--which I think is EVERYONE's first amigurumi! Smiley Bear with me, I'm so excited he turned out great! Cheesy

He's cute, I like the second picture the most (the sleeping post), and his eyes does looks like he is sleeping.
Waiting to see him sitting on chair, reading or doing other stuff ^__^

This is such a fun pattern, isn't it? Great to teach you a lot of the basics of shaping.

Yours looks very cute, and spookily like the one I made (quite some time ago now): http://www.flickr.com/photos/96575205@N00/70837543/

I'm just about finished with one of these little guys myself for a dear friends son .. it wasn't the first amigurumi I did by a long shot, however I'm curious, did y'all do the plastic pellets in the bottom of the hands and feet?  How would they stay in there and not travel on down the arms/legs?  I'd like to do it but I'm afraid they'd just move around the arms & legs and possibly get out (it's for a 2 year old so I'd hate for them to get out obviously).

I actually went to the hardware store and bought some pebbles used in decorating potted plants in the plant section! They work better because they're heavier and bigger, so they won't fall through the stitches! Smiley

So cute!

I've been wanting to make one for so long, but I can't seem to find a pattern for one.  Where did you get your pattern?
