Mini Makeover

Inspiration Sources:
1. ReadyMade Magazine's August/September Issue (30).  The last page has a list of humorous mini makeovers including the refrigerator, "a room you peer into every day."  I thought this was hysterical.

2. I've been taking a Bigfoot action figure with me on trips and sometimes around town and taking pictures of him at different landmarks or in different situations as a fun way to create souvenirs of my life, such as it is.

3. I used to take photos of a mini-me (brunette, blue-eyed Barbie) in different sets that I would create out of all kinds of miniature or handmade stuff, all of which I still have.  This explains the slightly girl-ish vibe in BF's space.

I already have a few different rooms in mind!  Until then, I can't wait for someone else to open my fridge!  Hehehehe!


I forgot to mention that I made the chair and ottoman,  "potted tree", end table and National Geographic magazines several years ago.

And now, the new installation.  The sun is back out here at home and I was inspired to make the installation more summer-fun-oriented.  I wish I had some kind of ocean or lake scene for behind it!   And now that I looked at it again for the photos, I know I'll have to print one up or something soon.

You know you're on a good track when you keep giggling while you create!  The person who most frequently gets in my fridge will probably be getting in there for tonic to make a cocktail, so that should be fun!  I had hoped that in my stash of stuff was a beer bottle, but I have glasses, mugs and one wine glass and a bottle of champagne.  BF doesn't drink champagne alone.  I'll probably update this when I change out the display.

whahahaha...thats so COOL i dont have that much space in my fridge lol, or else i would do that too for the fun.
