Hello all,

another school year is quickly upon us. my darling children are very involved in sports and well they love to volunteer mom for all these great fundraisers. I am trying to get a jump on the school year because I already know i will be active in the booster club. so every year the booster club holds a fundraiser craft show. the club as a group will make an assortment of handmade craft items that show team spirit. I am looking for some new ideas. last year we made bottlecap earrings which were a big hit. we also made all sorts of other items too but i remember the bottlecap earrings flying off the rack. We are doing them again this year and also domino pendants. i would love to know any great ideas that others may have. if you have done team spirit crafts please share some photos and how tos for the craft. thanks in advance.

I am making some bracelets out of wood placemats that I got from Wal Mart.  I take them apart and use the little tiles in them.  You could use scrabble tiles or maybe dominoes but these already have the holes in them.  I make the picture small enough to fit on the tile and then glue it on, use magic marker to color the rest of the tile and then use Glossy Accents by Ranger to put on the picture, about three coats.  Paint the rest of the tile with a water based varnish and then string them on stretch magic with a few beads between.  I got this idea from another message board. My daughter is on the booster club and thought people would like them.  Hope this helps.
