I've noticed that some craftsters post projects from the organized swaps in the appropriate board for the item. So I decided to post a skirt I made for Lolitaneko in the Japanese Street Fashion Swap. It was based on THIS skirt. My mom and I made it together and we argued the whole time (she made me rip and resew so many seams  Roll Eyes ) But in the end it turned out pretty well. I did not sew the apron-y part onto the petticoat, so she can make another herself if she wished to and she could change them according to her mood.

I think that this skirt is very lolita. It looks so much better than the original. Could you possibly give an idea how it was constructed?

That's a gorgeous skirt, I like the idea that you can make different apron parts and change it completely...I agree I would love an idea of how this is constructed....pretty please?

I wish there were more hours in the day...but I'd probably just waste those too.
