i made our pixelator acouple months ago immediately after reading the post!
i wanted one so bad i did everything in cardboard and paper.
and used elastics to bind it to the tv.

its really so beautiful and mesmerizing for sure.

were working on taking the pixelator to a new level, but its hard coz you gotta include the tv in the plans. oh
who invented this / came up with this brilliance?

sometimes we leave it on all night while were working.

OH my lordy...i immediately made one of these... i was too lazy to make the frame, so i just used one of my blank pre-stretched canvasses...i had enough tp rolls (don't ask, please) for about 3/4 of the frame (i cut the rolls in to 1/4) and finished the rest with double card stock that i taped in to tubes.

i almost cried when i watched it!!! it is simply gorgeous. i love how the smooshed rolls make all these imperfect circles and ovals...i love it so much.

I see you are in SoCal, so they should have it at any office store or major craft store. Students use it for posterboard. That's generally what it is. They should have it at Michaels, Walmart (but don't go there they're evil), Office Max/Depot, or maybe a college or university store. They might also have it at Kinkos. 
This pixelator is so cool! i want to make one for my computer monitor.. i don't have my own tv. But i have TV on my comp and dvds to play behind the pixelator... ^^ i'm excited.

If you want to get it online you can go to www.misterart.com but I'm sure you'll find it at all those places ph33lth3lov3 suggested.

If you're still having difficulties finding it you can simply use hard mat board, poster board or even regular cardboard...fome-cor is sturdier but all the others will work, too
