A counted cross stitch kit from DMC that I found visiting my sister in Australia.  They sell very very few DMC kits in the US, it's too bad since they are quite nice.

I was racing to finish this so that I could start on the plastic canvas DS lite case that has been posted here a few times  Grin  Always the lure of a new project!

I have no plans for this canvas (besides pressing and trimming the back threads) - I might make a pillow, but it will likely be gifted since I have no purple decor.  Undecided

thanks everyone - it really didn't take forever, my record was broken by a very huge piece that I finished last year, enormous, tiny tiny stitches, 20 shades each of green and orange and others - this was easy by comparison

I might start this next, it's 15 x 15" and I've been daunted by the amount of stitching

I also have this one -and I think I have all of the materials (about 30 shades of purple)  Shocked

what galls me about that DMC pillow kit is that they consider that "intermediate" no way, no how is that intermediate!

I have that lilac pattern too (SO gorgeous!), but I still haven't gotten up the guts to start it.

Oh, that's so pretty, and soothing to look at. That will be one nice gift for the lucky recipient  Smiley.

I made the DS Lite case recently and it was a really quick project. Have fun with it!
