Love that cabled bag! It's the pattern from Garnstudio, right?

Oh yes. Smiley

It's been a while, hasn't it?

How have you all been doing with your holiday gifts? Despite everything, I've fallen behind again; school, college applications, work - it all conspired against me! I have a lot of catching up to do!

How about you?

Procrastination is a major weakness of mine, and as a result, at least one of my projects won't be finished in time (my sister - the recipient, has been notified, and says she doesn't mind at all - thank goodness!)

I have finished:

-A Tuscany Shawl for my MIL

-A Counterpoint Scarf for Hubby's Aunt

-Socks for my Dad (well, they're almost done - just the toe of the second sock left to finish)

I still have to finish:

-A Tuscany Shawl for Hubby's Gramma (hoping this one zooms along as fast if not faster than the first one)

-Socks for hubby (only one sock left to go - these may end up being late as well as next week is Hubby's last week of work before the holidays and I can't work on them with him around Sad)

- A toque for FIL (doing this on the 7hr car ride to see Hubby's family)

-Cabled Blanket & Pillow for my sister (the one that will be late)

Like something I've made? I'm always up for personal swaps - just send me a PM!

greenapple, I love the scarf. I've been getting really into illusion patterns lately and I really like the one you chose.

I'm pretty much done with my gifts this year, I got impatient and gave my mother hers early (it was the Modern Quilt Shawl), so I have to finish the Garnstudio A-line cardigan she commissioned from me, so she has a gift to unwrap. Then there's DH's socks, but he isn't really interested in getting anything, so if I don't make it in time, it's no big deal. He also knows what he's getting, he chose the yarn. Cheesy

My list this year:

Mom: Modern Quilt Shawl, done (and given away), and the Garnstudio A-line cardigan (one sleeve, seaming and the collar to go)

Dad: An earflap hat and peekaboo-mittens (done)

Brother: Socks (done! And wrapped!)

Grandmother, mom's side: Fingerless mittens with cuff lace pattern from a pair of Knitty socks (done, wrapped):

Grandmother, dad's side: Shawl with button and shaping (done, wrapped):

Uncle: Lovikka mittens (done, also wrapped):

Uncle's ex-wife: Cabled armwarmers in bamboo (done and wrapped):

Cousin: Cabled bag from Garnstudio (done, wrapped!):

DH: Socks (not even started yet Cheesy)

Knitting with sharpened sticks.
