Well the grandbaby is coming next Thursday and I finished her diaper bag just in time.  I took my time and put lots of detail into this one and I'm really happy with how it turned out.  So onto the pics.

Here's the bag with the matching quilt that I made.  If you want to see more pics of the quilt check out this post:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=183628.msg1914207#msg1914207

The whole bag:

Close up of the bag.  I added a little swivel hook so a little baby toy or even mom's keys can be hooked on it.

Inside the bag.  There are four big pockets inside for all the different things a baby needs.  I just loaded up some of the things we have here at our house.  I'm sure there will be different things in in the pockets when it is packed up for baby.

Inside all emptied out.

A pic of the bag and the quilt on the baby's toy box.  The toy box was the mom-to-be's toy box when she was little.  My husband refinished it for the new baby and it and the cradle are just waiting for her to get here! Smiley

Okay that's it for the pics.  Let me know what you think of it.

I'm interested in personal swaps -- I love bracelets & necklaces and I don't know how to make them.

It's wonderful. I would have loved something like that when my boys were born. I hope that the delivery goes well.

those are both so beautiful! i love the bright colors. i noticed on the quilt, you did stippling. how do you do that? lol I have two sewing machines and I cannot get either of them to do a neat stipple. is there a secret that I am missing? i would love to quilt some of my bags this way, but mess it up every time. congrats on the grandbaby!
