As a beginner to intermediate knitter, this one took a little more thinking than I would have liked, but it keeps a hot water bottle warm until the morning! I used an alpaca-wool-cotton blend (Bernat, Haven) on Number 5 needles, and it is almost as cuddly as my kitten!

I wish I had this years ago, that is all I can say.

That looks great.
And I love the heart on it.
My hot water bottle came with a knit cover with a penguin on it, but it's so thick I can't even feel the warmth, so I usually don't use it.  Undecided
