I don't suppose if anyone knows of a Lain bear hat pattern.  Know what I'm talking about?  I'd love to knit myself (and maybe my kiddo) one, but I have yet to run across one online.  I think I could probably make one up, but I've never done that before (make myself a pattern).  Seems like it would be a nice as a felted project.  I've seen the things for sale, for like $30-$40 bucks.

Thanks-
Mindysan

I have a Lain doll with the bear hoodie p.j.'s!  Grin It would be totally cute as a hat, and pretty easy to make up a pattern. You should try it!

I'd like a pattern for that too.  I just went to an anime convention and the clothing was on the pricey side.  I'd rather make something like that myself since I wouldn't be wearing it that often.

The only hats I've seen like that have been for small children.  If you're into modifying patterns you could size it up, maybe?

If I find something though, I'll post the link.

I think to make it would probably only need, like you said, sizing up from a child's pattern, or to modify a regular aviation knitted cap, since that's basically what the bear hat is.  I might give that a try.  if I do, I'll be sure to post it here.
