A while ago, I went on a Rowan colour workshop weekend, where we were encouraged to use a favourite picture to inspire us. My inspiration was a photograph of a garden, and I took things quite literally, and designed a garden cusion. I only just finished it today, and I'm really happy with it!  Smiley

The top row of flowers do have stems made of a "ladder" of purl, but it's hard to see in the photograph. It's pretty cool in real life, I promise!

Back: (big buttons!)



Edit: Detail pics!!  Also, for the flowers, you just cast on 5 or 6 sts, then knit 6 rows, knitting into f&b of each st on alt rows, then cast off in a different colour. Or the same colour!  Cheesy

your pillow is gorgeous!  It looks almost like a painting.  Are the flowers from a pattern or did you make them up?  I like how some of the flowers have two colors... this rocks!
