A week or two ago I posted a pattern. For this guy:

Magical_otter made some and posted the pictures. They were so adorable, I want to officially extend the offer to all of you to make the octopus revolution happen. The pattern is easy, it takes no time, so you have no excuses!

Look at that face! You know you want to. And you know you wanna post some pictures of it. If you don't let me down, I'll set up a flickr group and everything.

Here is the link to the pattern/happiness:

World peace is a surefire result to having a few of these guys around. And I can personally say that I have 17% less heartburn and 39% fewer headaches just from being in the same room as they are.

*wink* hope to see your opus soon.

Oh, and here's the flickr group. It's pretty lonely over there...

It is very cute, I think you've convinced me.  I should have some yarn in my stash for this...

He is very cute!  I'll definitely have a go at making one (or two!) once I finish a couple of my other projects!

So, I pretty much fell in love with your octopus!  I loved her so much that I decided to make some.  I ended up making an octopus, a mini octopus, and a piggy (using the same idea).

Here's the mini one, complete with an obnoxiously large bow.

And the piggy with a curly tail!

Hope you all enjoy them as much as I do!  Cheesy

Very silly question from an amigurumi-newbie - do you join the rounds or turn your work when making an octopus? I was reading the pattern before I tried making one (they're so cute!), and I wasn't sure...I know this is a hugely lame question Smiley
