Those look Fab-u! I enjoy the Cameo'd ones. Are you using a professional silkscreen process to make your images? Looks like you are having a good summer!

Wow, they are all sooooooo wonderful! And the images are absolutely perfect! I'm interested in how you got the images to the fabric, too, it looks so professional!

I'm curious to know what sort of silk screening you did as well.  They look fantastic!  Very nicely done.  I want to get into silk screening but I'm worried it may be expensive and I may not get the same results you are getting!

wow!  thanks guys.  yes the images are all screenprinted on.  i used the photo emulsion method.  it took about 5 times before i got it right but when i got the hang of it, it started to work every time.  if anyone wants me to tell exactly how to do it i will but i'm sure there are plenty of tute's in the screenprinting section.  you could just get a starter kit and experiment.  it's so much fun.

oh and i screenprint the images on the fabric before i sew just in case of a mess-up.

Really really cute totes.  I haven't tried the photo emulsion method.  Your results are amazing.  I wonder if I could do something similar with fabric spray paint and stencils?  I'll tell you how it goes.  Smiley  I'm always looking for the easy way out.

hey diykitten,  i'm sure stenciling would come out good.  i only silkscreen cause i'm gonna try to mass produce but stenciling is great if you only want a few copies.

Hey, I'm a teacher "off" for the summer too. Been doing some screen printing, love your bags.

BE CAREFUL if you are planning to sell your bags. Make sure the images you use are not someone else's creative property...if you are just gifting them, I don't think you'll be in a fix, but imagine if you'd drawn the image and saw it for sale...or on TV!

Just read a Craftster post about a design being used on Gilmore Girls. Something to think about.

Love the bags!!!

I like the simplicity of designs. Gave me an idea that it might be fun to put some of my art images on bags for holiday gifts.  Do you use a pattern or just make them up?
