Really really cute! It's similar to a pattern I used to use for kids smocks. My smock pattern is a bit shorter and the back doesnt matter because it's worn over jeans and T-shirts. Love this pattern. I have not made one in years but I may have to go digging through some fabric this weekend. I'm all inspired and stuff now. Thanks for posting it.

This is excellent!  I am definately going to try it out once I get my head around the pattern measurements.  I am interested too as to whether the dress opens alot at the back when worn?

I just picked up this pattern at a thrift shop.  I had to pay $3 for it, sadly, not $.25.  It's a chic thrift store in a pricey district in Providence, RI, so I guess they have to pay rent.

Questions:  What size did you pick up, and how old is your daughter?  Did you lengthen it?  I, too, notice the scandalousness of the hem length.  I have a size 1.  I guess to make it bigger, I'd just expand it from the fold/center, and lengthen it.

I can't wait to make it!

Great job!!! Thanks for the tut

How much fabric did you use for the size you made per side.  Does that make sense?  Huh  Like for the checker side how much fabric for your fill in the blank size did you buy?  So I can guess how much fabric for my DD's to buy.  Thanks for the help.
