Ok, let see if I can do this right!  First completed project.  First post with pics!  Grin

I took an Old pair of clarks mules...super comfy, not very hip.


Use a razor to cut out the toe and sanded them lightly.


White shoe polish


Cherry fabric turned into bias tape, buttons, and red trim!

actually, it was kinda scary how easy they cut.  i dont even think it was a new blade!  I found it at the bottom of DHs toolbox!  Shocked

I figured as much as the shoes were new, the leather should have been a little thicker!  it was crazy to see that it was such a THIN layer of leather.   

i am so excited about having found this site!  it has really reignited my creativity!  thanks all!
