This guy was developed from knitting my daughter 'Cheese' from Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends. (which I posted on the forum)
As usual, I knitted him as I went, without writing the pattern down, so I developed this guy for my son who wanted one too.
Knit in DK or aran yarn, on DPNs, any size between 3.5 mm and 4.5mm (smaller is better for stuffing). The original cheese was made in aran weight Jaeger, not sure what size needles..
You need:
Lime DK for body
White DK for eyes
Small amount of purple yarn for pupils
Small amount of teal for mouth
5 DPNs
pair of 2.5mm needles (for making eyeballs)
toy stuffing

MAKING UP.
Sew eyes onto body, then, using purple DK, french knot or embrioder a pupil into the centre of each eye.
Backstitch a mouth using teal DK.
Arms, sew up the hands and sew onto sides of body.
Legs, sew onto bottom of, err, bottom!!
Voila!
I wondered about getting some REALLY STRONG magnets, to put into his hands and feet, but I couldn't get any that would make him stick through the yarn.
Apart from him, I've made a blue one called roquefort (a blue kind of cheese!)
And 'Hampton' (currently sans arms, legs and eyes) who is multi striped, and I made while holidaying in Northampton.
They don't take long, proficient knitters should be able to do one on a day.
Post pics if you make one!!
