I GOT MINE

the other day I got this cryptic message in my inbox

the orange and green 'stuff' is made by me
the shiny flowery things are made by me
the round tan thing is made by me

Orange and green was soap and a bath mitt.. lots of soap
(cucumber avocado  and orange sparkly glycerin)
shiny flowery was two polymer clay handled crochet hooks *faints*
round tan was chocolate chip lip balm

Well, I didn't want to blow the surprise - cause that's half the fun, isn't it?

And I'm glad that you liked everything!

Here are pictures of what I got!

Patterns

More patterns and a bag of buttons, stick on letters, orange craft yarn, gold thread, hair clips and these little round things (not sure what they are for, maybe curtains?)

And fabrics!

Thank you so much for everything knuckstermom!

That fabric is GREAT!! I love the sailboats & the trains!!

*sigh* Now have to wait until I receive for feedback but I haven't heard from my partner since this swap started. Though I think it's just because I like to communicate with my partners much more than most people do.
If you are referring to me Huh...I PM'd ya when I got ya as a partner!
to find out a little more specifics and ya sent me back a whole 4 lines...   Shocked

Oh I'm sorry that sounded mean! I didn't mean it that way. I'm just a paranoid person and pm my partners way too much. Ask palicious, she even called me a stalker. Cheesy  I'm sorry if you didn't feel like I sent a lot of info, it's just that I've taken a lot of time to add info in my profile so I thought that that would help you alot.

WARNING - PHOTO OBESE

I received today, from Marmish, who is a first time swapper, and who completely and totally knocked my socks off, rendering me speechless, except for the muttering of OMG OMG OMG OMG

Here's a picture of the box, before I started unwrapping everything:

and here's everything, once I got done unwrapping it (and still muttering OMG OMG OMG):

now, so you can see ALL the amazing things that came out of this box (and i apologize for any blurriness, i think my hands were shaking from all the excitement):
2 crafty magazines, a Vogue scarves knitting book, a ball of lion homespun yarn and another ball of a wonderful chunky deep red yarn:

SIX quilt squares for my craftster quilt - and that bag at the bottom are these nifty plastic things you snap onto safety pins to help baste the layers together, and not destroy my fingers:

a roll of ruler tape:

some GORGEOUS stitch markers:

fat quarters, for my quilt, or needle rolls, or anything else that i always seem to need more fat quarters - and there's THIRTEEN of 'em!

some packing tape to mark packages fragile, a 4 pack of ribbon for wrapping things, some notecards, some scrapbooking papers and a 2-pack of picture frames from ikea that I can paint, decoupage, or otherwise craftify

and some more notecards - the 3 on the top were commissioned to be done by Marmish's DH, who did a great job - I'm not sure I want to part with them!

Beth - I know this was your first swap, and you were all nervous - and I have to tell ya - I'll be your partner ANY time..... thank you so much for the thought, care and effort you put into this package - if there's anyone who isn't jealous, i think they're fibbing!

I'm glad you liked everything!  I think the other yarn is wool-ease?  Is that even a yarn?

I received today, will post pic's later.  Must clean, parents driving in from out of town tomorrow, but I DID rip it open as soon as I arrived home.
