These hair clippies are a smidge longer than one inch Smiley  My sis requested felt covered clippies because they seem to have a better grip than the regular metal clippies.  I had a blast making these, and there are more in the works (monkey, cherry, panda, skully, butterfly, and other flowers)!

I love these! The cupcake one is adorable. How did you attach them onto the clippie? Do you have a picture of the back?

Thanks CheyElizabeth Smiley

I handstitched the felt 'sleeves' for the hair clips, made a cut in the back piece of the felt 'sleeve' and slipped the hair clip into it!  Unfortinately, I've already mailed the clippies to my sister Tongue  When I make the next batch, I'll try to take pictures of the back!

Ahh That makes sense! My daughter wears these clips all the time and I really wanna make some for her. I don't think i'll be able to detail them as nicely as you do though =)

So cute, loves2experiment! I wonder how well those would work for me - my hair is very thick, but the texture is fine...hmm...

Thanks guys!

I hope my niece likes them too!  She's not quite one yet, and she likes to chew on her clips Undecided  If these work well for her fine hair, I'll be making lots of them!

CheyElizabeth, when you make yours, please post pictures!  I'd love to see them!

Fun4Bambi, they might very well work for you if you use the larger clips.  I made a test clippie with the regular-sized clips and it was very snug when I clipped it on my hair.
