Baby Blue Jeans

I knit these from knitty's blu pattern using rowan denim. They were kind of putzy to make, but I think they turned out well.

So cute!  I might try making those for my friend who is expecting -- I've always thought the pattern was adorable, but I wasn't sure I wanted to make them.  What did you use for the stitching?

They're for a friend's son who could be born any day now. When he arrives he has a closet of super-cool handmade threads waiting for him. Lucky fella!

I used embroidery floss for stitching. They were fun to make, although I had to frog it once because I didn't pay close enough attention to the pattern. But I'm glad I stuck with them.
