anna - that looks really neat.  but i'm wondering, sorry if this is a silly question, what is a lariat?

It is a necklace that has no clasps and it really long so you can loop it around you neck.
Here is a site about them

Hope this helps!

Everybody is getting such lovely little things!  Love the lariat and the post it notes.  However, I really really love what I just got from Homerof2:

It's perfect!  I keep using receipts for bookmarks because I don't have one and it has 3 of my favorite colors in it, very me.  It reminds me of my grandmother because plastic canvas was her favorite craft medium...or one of them anyway.

That bookmark is amazing. Is the pattern for the letters possibly available somehow? Wink

The pattern is from an alphabet booklet I borrowed from my niece.

TreeTree- Every time I look at the "T" on the bookmark, I think it is a tree! One of my college friends was a Theresa, and she was tall, so we called her Tree-sah... Wink  Homerof2- You did such a nice neat job! I'm impressed!

Lol, I've gone by just "tree" for along time....I'm short though...but without an "h" it really lends itself to tree.  I also am called tareeree by my sisters...oh and monkey by my boyfriend, but that is completely irrelevant.
