I started out trying to follow this tutorial-- http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=180562.0 -- with a skirt I had that was way too small (size 4?). But I didn't really follow the tutorial, so along the way it became something entirely different.



I used the original waistband and pockets. I just took out the zipper fly.



I wanted to make longer sleeves, but I didn't have enough material. It's also a little small on me, so it won't button up. The back-



I think I'll try another one sometime with a skirt or pants that actually fit around my waist cause this turned out way better than I expected.

That Jacket is absolutely adorable. I would buy one in a heartbeat. even though it's to small to close, i think it looks fine just being open.

I'm adding this to my never ending list of projects to give a try.
