i'm doing a variation on this for bridal party gifts...  each of them gets a cd with songs that remind me of them (that we used to listen to at top volume while driving around, or that we used to quote to each other constantly, etc.) and is decorated to match the other gifts... i'll probably make paper envelopes for 'em.

We're doing cd favors for our May wedding but are very hesitant to burn 200+ ourselves. Does anyone know of an online store which would burn/stamp/label cds?
Thanks!

My sister just got married in December and she had cds as favours.  Instead of putting on their favourite songs, they put on first songs of friends and family.  It was nice, because it was such a variety of music.  Everyone had fun seeing what cheezy love songs others had used!  One thing I would recommend...give yourself lots of time to burn the cds.  My sister's husband did a few each day for weeks before the wedding...and we were still burning cds on the day before.  Also, you might want to check to see if each cd burned properly.  I had a few people say to me after the wedding that their cd wouldn't play.

ruby - I like the idea for the bridal party cd's, I had thought about that....LONG AGO.  Guess it had slipped my mind, go figure!  I guess I'd better get on that!
Thanks!

SunnyDays, I was at a wedding once where the DJ offered the service of burning the cd's. They had then done ahead of time and they had a label on with cute clip art picture that matched the theme of the wedding.  Then they had them laying on the tables. Don't know how many do that, but it's something you could look into.

I was just at Staples website looking into printing services and noticed that they do cd burning. I don't know if they'll do music cds or not but you might want to check it out!  Smiley

I burned over 200 CD's for a friend of mines wedding.  She actually made one for the younger guest and one of the older guest....then we made different colored envelopes to tell the two apart!

I think i have decided for my wedding, we are going to make a mixed cd and send it as part of the invitation....i just have to decide the best way to mail them. Smiley

I found a company on ebay, the seller was cdwizards and for $1.20 they provided the cd, developed a design (approved by you), burned the image on and provides a paper sleeve.  All I have to do is burn the music, which is a fraction of the work!

I was thinking of doing cd.  But what should you do if the songs you listen to most people you are friends with will not enjoy it.  I love prince.  Do you think people will like those songs.
