Well Sir Pickard was one of the devoted knights to William of Normandy...correction to the date.  I just checked my genealogy.  It was in 1069 that he was bestowed the crest.  In one paw he's got arrows in the other he's got shafts of wheat.

I love history.

Sir Pickard was a real sword-into-plowshares kind of man, then.

The sword in 1066 (and all that) but the wheat just 3 years later.  A goodly heritage.

I love history, too. Or can't you tell? Grin

And I just realized you have the charming, well-dressed demoiselle in your manor, as well as young Sir Aiden. Cheesy

I try.  Between the daycare lady and my mom and me making clothes, we do quite well.

Ms. Dawn, she's got a grand-daughter that is just too small for what means to be a whole bag of clothes for my Sierra.  So, when we go back to daycare tomorrow, she'll most likely be in yet another outfit from Ms. Dawn coming home in.  She likes to play dress up with Sierra, and I don't mind.  I just have to make something really nice for her before Sierra moves up.  Which is in about three weeks time...egads!!!
