Ok, I finally broke down and hand sketched the pattern. Mind you, I didn't take any progress pictures, and the pattern works for the measurements of your child.
This pattern is one of my first designed so bear with my drafting skills.
I don't have any photos of my daughter in it yet, except the shorts, that she used as a pirate's first mate for dress up...
Without further ado, here's the pattern.

Tutorial:Materials: 1 standard size pillowcase
1/4" elastic for around the waist
bias tape for sleeve interfacing
Lay the pillowcase out with the opening end towards the bottom. Place shorts pattern pieces side by side. This will give you your x2 pieces needed for the shorts. Place the bodice pattern above the shorts pieces towards the top and cut the pattern out. There should be about a 2 inch piece of the pillowcase on the left hand side. This will be used for the straps at the top of the bodice.
Shorts construction:For both front and back pieces. With right sides together. Sew along the inseam until you reach the dot. Then take the sewn pieces and with right sides together sew the sides together. Then match up the inseam area *crotch area* and then sew it together. The legs do not need a hem as the finished part of the pillowcase has already done this for you.
Fold over 1/4" of the waist and press with an iron (optional step). Fold over again and stitch the hem in place. Leave about a 1/2 opening in waistline to run the elastic through. I use two safety pins one on either end of the elastic to run it through the waist. Once done. Stitch the elastic and waistband closed.
Bodice construction:With right sides together sew the side seams from under the arm to the edge. Hem front and back seams at the collar and the bottom hemline. Turn the bodice inside out with right sides facing out and sew the bias tape first on the outside of the arm-hole and then turn the top inside out again (right sides together) and tack it down in place.
Optional step. When you hem the front and back, you can run elastic here too or add the straps.
Straps: Once measured pin the straps to the wrong side of the bodice with wrong side facing out at the dots. Once attached, turn wrong side in and you are complete.
