Wow! I just had to agree with all the previous posters and say that you did a super amazing job on these. Your design is so much classier than your inspiration link. I only wish I'd been as brave as you to try it for my own wedding. All the best to you!

wow!  Where did you get those graphics?  You did SUCH an amazing job!  The invitations will mean so much more since you made them by hand and hand delivered them!  Those are gorgeous!  I wish you and your future husband every happiness, and may you and yours be blessed!

hehehe... thank you!  I think this whole wedding thing is making me sentimental & emotional. Cheesy

Let me see if I can find the site where I got most of the graphics from.  I think they are actual paintings.  I saved them all to a folder, but being the not-quite-intelligent person that I am, I saved them as "blossom1," "blossom2," etc., instead of saving them as the artist's or website's name...argh.

Those are truly classy and beautiful.
Where did you purchase the "dowels" to roll them up,
I am not sure what a Dowel is. LOL.

All the best, Barbara

You can get dowels at any hardware store. Also at Hobby Lobby and, I think, Michaels

Thanks!!

Yep... I got my dowels from Hobby Lobby, but Michael's, Jo Ann Fabrics, Meijer & Walmart have them as well.

They are just long, thin, wooden rods that come in a variety of diameters.  They look like this:  http://www.woodcrafter.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=2865  They are $0.50 - $1.00 a piece, depending on diameter.  I cut (I think I got 3 or 4 little rods out of each fullsize rod) & spraypainted them.
