when they burn, does the wax seep through the cinnamin sticks?  the last thing i want as a side effect to one of my gifts is a waxy mess.

no, thats what i thought too so i had on for myself and burned it, i would put a candle plate under it just to be safe, but on the one i burned, it didnt burn the entire candle, only the center of it, so it didnt seep through the sides

I saw something like this in macys - yours is better, but I bought one anyway (I'm overwhelmed with crafts that I already will not have done in time!).  I may try this for next year...

BTW - I love your avatar - shake rocks!

Just one more thought on this...which rocks, btw. (I saw something similar in a Illuminations catalog, but they glued (?) the sticks to a votive holder.) What if you used that "tacky wax" stuff to glue the sticks? It's the stuff used to keep tapers in a candlestick. Otherwise, there must be some kind of "candle glue" out there? Just a thought.

K...this topic was from last year, but I just found it & it's nearing the holidays again, so I'm bringing it to life AND doing it!  Smiley  Thinking about using them as part of my coworkers gift packs this year... maybe try some smaller candles too.
