I saw this top online somewhere and thought "Oh My Goodness, I must have it!"

But, It's an Urban Outfitters shirt and they want 40 dollars for everything. So when I found a girl scout sash at a turnover sale, I knew it was meant to be.

I feel like an anime character in this photo:

Annnd Badges I added. I earned these!:

The badges are, from top, Sports, Dance, Horse Appreciation, and (I think)Computer Fun. Oh yeah, nerd badge.

I made the shirt myself out of some jersey b/w knit I had. I didn't have a pattern hence why the collar is a little wonky.

That. Is. So. Cool!  And so much better than the Urban Outfitters one, I might add.

That's awesome - I agree, much better than the UO shirt, since theirs was just printed on, and extra-awesome since you actually earned the badges Wink

Additional thanks because I've been wracking my brains trying to remember what some of my badges were for, and I couldn't find the horse appreciation one listed anywhere online  Roll Eyes

That's wonderful! I love Urban Outfitters and that shirt captures the feeling and the awesomeness of it without costing 304875398475 dollars.

That's adorable.

Pretending to be a girl scout is fun. Or, in my case, a boy scout, because I found a cute boy scout shirt at a thrift shop. It irritates my guy friend, who's an eagle scout.  Wink

Not only is the Urban Outfitters shirt too expensive -- the sash is backwards. Wink

You get a badge for "inventive re-engineering".

I WISH I'd saved my old sash!
