It's in SoMa feb 3rd, 1-7pm.  You can check out the website (built by yours truly) http://pandorastrunk.com and if it sounds cool put yourself on the mailing list to get all the really great info.  I'm really excited about the DIY clothing station - bring something to work on and you can hang out with free drinks in the middle of my warehouse while you do!

Aw, I wish I could still meet up in the Bay Area, but alas, I live 3000 miles away now, in a cold land where it's nearly impossible to get people to leave their houses for anything other than a town fair.  Gah...

Hey crafty ladies,

I am in a knitting group that meets on Tuesday nights at the Mel-o-Dee in El Cerrito plaza. We meet in the back room, and have been participating in this ritual for several years now (I think over 3) Stiff drinks, poor lighting, and we often have the place almost to ourselves.  We're usually there at 8 pm. PM me if you are thinking of stopping by and we'll keep our eyes peeled for you.

There is an Oakland Crafts MeetUp Group that meets every Sunday afternoon from 2-5 at cafes in and around Oakland. Next week we're having a New Member MeetUp in Alameda, geared towards people who have never visited, although everyone is welcome. I just posted a thread about that for the calender. The third Sunday of every month we meet at the Church of Craft meetings at Rock Paper Scissors in Oakland.

It's a drop-in group, all crafts welcome. Some of our regular attendees knit, needle felt, and make sock monkeys.

Updates of where we are next meeting can always be found at http://craftswap.meetup.com/11/

Because life is just a little brighter with a sock monkey.

Hi all, the former Oakland Crafts Meetup group has moved to Yahoo.

We're still meeting every Sunday, usually in Berkeley.  We have a small group of regulars and would love to have some more people come out and craft with us.  Please check out the link below for more details!

This thread was started quite some time ago ... anything current?  I live in SF and spend a decent amount of time in Berkeley too ... I would love to join a group or start one!  Fill me in ladies!

I'm looking to send my Step-Sister's Choice quilt to a new home.  If you're interested in swapping for fabric/scrapbooking supplies, send me a PM.

I am curious about anything current also. I'm in Albany. I work retail so my schedule is up to everyone but me, but I'd love to join in when I can.

You can join our group at http://groups.google.com/group/bartists2009 (or anyone).  I'll approve you ASAP.  Our first meeting is on Sunday!

Hi all,

I am a recent transplant to the East Bay from Sydney, Australia, and I am looking to meet new people and learn new crafty skills.

I've been through this thread and clicked on the links, but most of the seem to be out of date.

Do you know if there are any current crafty groups that you know about that I could join? I live in Alameda and there only seems to be 'new mothers' clubs in the area. Embarrassed

Thanks in advance!

R.
