There are very posts in the needlework section, which consists mostly of some form of embroidery. I don't even think that needlepointers post here.  I think this is because people just don't realize that Plastic canvas is part of your needlework heading.  I know there are plenty people doing plastic canvas these days.  If you check out the pattern sites, there are so many relating to this topic.  If there was a seperate section for plastic canvas and needlepoint, you would get many more posts on these subjects.

Nyx, plastic canvas isn't a child craft.  You can make all sorts from it!

I am searching for more ideas for plastic canvas. I have over fifty different books with patterns for plastic canvas, I am currently working on centerpieces for our fall festival at church. I need to make atleast six of them before October fifteenth. I am making different things pertaining to fall like signs, pumpkins, gourds, buckets of apples and such. I made one centerpiece according to one of my books. The one I am making now I am just making things and rearranging them on a board as I get them done. Any other ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I'd like to see a plastic Canvas sub-category under needlework.  It really doesn't fit in with the cross stitch and embroidery stuff.  It's similar yes, but you can go 3d and it really is a different beast.

I second this suggestion! It doesn't quite seem like needlepoint to me (even though I suppose it is) since many of the projects are 3D and can stand alone.

I guess I can see why we don't have our own sub-category now... I can not wait until Plastic Canvas becomes popular again... sigh.

I have been waiting forever for plastic canvas to become popular again.. I have thousands of patterns but am always looking for more. PC is definitely no just for children.. these are some of the pieces I've made... (some I'd be hard pressed to do again).. my hands get tore up on them sometimes.. especially the 3d ones.
