aw so my fridge broke and flooded my whole kitchen and all i had to clean up the whole mess was one small not very absorbant sponge
but BUT i did not freak out or even get upset and for me that's a huge HUGE deal because I cry over EVERYTHING

i'm going to thank my recent sewing spell for my new zen

this shirt I made I drafted the pattern myself. It's my first time drafting a full bodice and my first time working with jersey. it didn't turn out fully wonderful - there's a gap in the back neck and i don't know why. and the hem band thingie didn't work that great and it's a bit too loose at the bottom and the cowl isn't draping all that wonderfully but I like it Tongue

my superhero pose

dark and flashless I know. i'll fix the levels tomorrow. i need to sleep before 12 tonight. can see the cowl better in this one

it's weird because as I took the pic (and this happens often) i had a clearly perceptable smile on my face, slight but still there yet in the photos nothing

as always comments appreciated and i'll love you forever for them (and just for being you)

i really like the way it hangs on your neck. very nice job! I can def see myself wearing that. (BTW, I have to say "def" because i can't spell the real word. defiantly? definietly? whatever.)

ahahah loves it! i say def but that's bc i'm lazy. like i actually say it out loud as well. I went through a slight phase that recurs often where I shorten all my words to one syllable.  The most rock bottom i ever got was when I shortened the word "nice"

Fantastic shirt!  Looks like something I bought out of a store once Smiley
And I'm so happy that sewing can chill you out so much, I think it does the opposite for me.  I don't know how many times I nearly cried over the stupid zipper on my last project, lol

Def "The Knights Who Say Nie"!  ROFL now, thank you.  I really love that shirt!  The color is superb on you as well.  I can't imagine being able to draft my own pattern - wow!!! Shocked

Have we got some internal sequin issues, Benjamin?

Do you have any tips for how to do a cowl neck so well?
