A few years ago on a jewelry making show I saw a women make a leather bracelet and it peeked my interest. So in full Obsessive Compulsive mode I went on ebay to find my leather. I ended up finding a "lot" of different leathers belt pieces. Peeked my interest so I bought all of them sat put them away until recently when I came up with this idea. It is stamped polymer clay pieces cooked first then glued to the strap. I used a leather punch to make the holes in the back then I laced it with lace or leather.

I love them, the pieces in the middle look very authentic.  You can't tell they're not metal.

These look great!  The polymer work is very detailed and professional looking.  So were the leather pieces made and cut for belts before you bought them?  Ebay is wonderful isn't it?  I find all kinds of things that I should buy but when I see them I suddenly NEED them....

Thanks so much. I've been on the fence about starting an etsy store. I'm trying to weigh out the good and bad to it.

Thanks. I used an epoxy to adhere the polymer to the leather. I also scored the back of the polymer piece before I baked them.
