What would you recommend for getting wool a creamy, off-white color? I am making a hat for someone, and he wants an off-white stripe. I have lots of creamy white, but I have a feeling it's a bit too white for what he wants.

I thought about maybe dyeing some with a teensy dab of brown or yellow. Any thoughts? How would you go about getting an off-white color?

Thanks!

a tiiiiiiiiiny bit of yellow or brown. Not a lot. Enough to be hardly noticable. I would experiment with some scrap yarn first!
