Same here...I think I've FINALLY decided on what I'm going to make and what yarn I'll use.  My partner had a lot of fun ideas though...I hope I'll be able to surprise her!

Speaking of which, how many of you are asking to be surprised? Smiley

I received my yarn today so now I want to start knitting! I have a few things to do though before that, but I can't wait. I love crafting for someone who is as excited to receive the item as I am to make it!

i asked to be suprised.
my crafting partner has already checked my wist and i've given her permission to run wild with it.

my receiving partner asked for something specific, which i'm so excited to make. i've already bought the yarn and worked out my guage. tonight i'll be working on making notes on the pattern. i hope to officially start tomorrow!

I picked up yarn today, and have one of the blocks for the blanket I'm making about 1/2 done. It's fun picking out different patterns to try, and experimenting with different ideas.  Smiley

the purse i'm making is about 1/3 done...it's a type i've never ever even thought about attempting before, so the outside (which is the only part finished) took like 4 tries. i've thrown away more bits of thread and interfacing today than i've ever done on any project...

however, it's looking awesome, now!

i probably wouldn't mess up so much if i wasn't watching anime the whole time i pinned, i guess...

After a trip to the fabric store, I came home with 7 yards of fabric (thank heavens for the founder's day sale...sheesh!) for Muria's quilt. I vowed I wouldn't start working on it until I got my work done (I am a freelance copywriter and editor and I have a HUGE project due at 8:00 am - yet I am sitting browsing craftster), however, I started measuring and cutting it out and now I am very excited.
