Swap Organizer himself/herself meets these conditions:
- Has fully read the Swap Info Guide: YES
- Has successfully completed two swaps as a participant: YES
- Is not organizing more than three swaps right now: YES
- Will recruit a co-organizer or give all details to a Swap Moderator if this swap has more than 25 participants: YES


Swap Organizer will check each participant to make sure they meet these conditions:
- Has been a member for at least one month: YES
- Has posted at least 15 times: YES
- Has completed one swap successfully before signing up for multiple swaps at a time: YES
- Is not currently signed up for more than five swaps: YES
- Does not have any negative feedback: YES

Additional Rules:
I will be giving feedback comments in the following way:
-  great swapper: for those who follow all the rules
-  good/poor communication:  where applicable
-  sent late/early: where applicable
-  no dc number: failed to comply with the rule about using a delivery confirmation number for packages within your own country
- didn't post pictures: failed to post pictures of what they received without an adequate explanation to their partner
Everyone who is sending a package within the boundaries of their own country must use a delivery confirmation number. PM me for prior approval if there's some problem with following this rule. Otherwise, if you aren't shipping across borders and you don't use one, it will be noted in your feedback. If you are excused from using one, you must save your receipt from the post office (it's also always a good idea to photograph what you're sending before you send it).
PM me and your partner with your DC number when you send. PM me and your partner when you receive, and thank your partner.
Post pictures in the gallery within a reasonable time afterwards. It gives people warm fuzzies. If you don't have access to a digital camera, let your partner know early on so they can be sure to take a picture before they send. It's so sad to craft something and not have a record of it!

Details of swap:

This swap is all about matching up craftsters with different skills. Love to bead, but can't sew worth a darn? Knit like a fiend, but get violent at the thought of fooling with a crochet hook? Can you ATC up a storm, but silkscreening eludes you? Join this swap!

Are you thinking, "but I can't bead, knit, OR make ATC's"? Check out the next post, because I'll be making a list of everything people *can* do, and everything they *want* to do, and updating it up until the point signups end. Check back a few days before then, and send me a PM to revise your application if you get any new ideas!

For this swap, put your energy into one large item (unless your partner wants otherwise, or the nature of the craft dictates multiple smaller items). You can send extras, of course, but don't go overboard. You're also welcome to send along extra tools, instructions and supplies for your craft if you think your partner wants to learn. (Don't know what a "large item" is? Click here.)

Also, take note: You will most likely not be sending to the person who sends to you. Person A sends to person B, who sends to person C, who sends to person A. That way, we don't have to count on ther being one person who knits but doesn't bead, and one who beads but doesn't knit, and so on! You also might not get your first choice, but this way I can accomodate as many as possible.

With sufficient interest, I'd be willing to set up a "beginner's circle." Beginners would still be putting forth their best effort, but it would be a way for people to practice stuff they're just starting out on (and sending to people who can't even do it a little bit) without swap anxiety, and with more flexibility on the one large item guideline (like, a beginner knitter would be much more comfortable doing a hat and scarf set than a child's sweater). If people wanted more than one dip in this swap, I could set them up with one slot in the expert loop and one slot in the beginner loop, even.

If it would just serve to make people feel like losers, I'll forget it. :-p But swap anxiety is real, and all of us are beginners at *something,* so I'll just see what the response is like...
