This is a beautiful sweater.  I was considering making one for my cousin's daughter.  She's 11.

Can you explain how to make adjustments to this fits a child?
Thanks,
Monica

Does anyone have a gauge for this cardigan?

I made one in the measurements specified (Maggie has the same measurements as me) and it is much too small for me. It fits my sister who has a 32" bust. I crochet tighter than some, but I didn't realize it would turn out that small. Oh well, my sister gets a new sweater...

First of all, let me say thank you for your awesome pattern!

I'm having a bit of trouble, though, and I was hoping you could help me.
I've made the whole body according to the pattern, but I used a G hook instead of I so mine would be smaller. The fit turned out perfect, but I made one sleeve and it was a few inches too wide and and long for me. I was wandering how I could make the sleeve a size smaller, and still have the mesh look right.

edit:

Nevermind. I got too anxious and tried it myself. Ha.
It's not perfect, but I think it turned out pretty good!
Unfortunately, my walmart didn't have the right color yarn, so I had to make mine plum. I still love it though! Here's a picture if you want to see it Smiley.
