I love your bag.  I especially like the fact that it is not uniform in color like I am accustomed to seeing.

so funny story, i bookmarked this about a year ago because i was totally in love with this project and wanted to make it so badly. i crocheted all of the squares and wove in the ends, and the squares ended up sitting in a box in my closet for an entire year.

i pulled them back out a couple days ago and started seaming like mad.. crocheted the top and bottom bits today, and now the bag is almost ready to go! i just need to attach the strap and sew in some lining. i'm so thrilled with how it's turned out, and i really just have to show it off!

i'm not sure if you'll get this or not, but thank you so much for the inspiration AND for the tutorial! this is hands down my favorite thing i have ever made of all time :]

I love your version better.

Great bag.

I'm in awe of granny square people.  the 1 and only GS I did came out more round than sq as think added too many, but makes a nice coaster.  Will try again.

In the meantime gaze in awe!
