I got an XL mens shirt from the local thrift store.  I then hacked it up and sewed it back together as I went along.  This is my first time sewing pleats by the way.  It's too small around the bust, so I have to leave the top two buttons open in order to still be able to breathe...does this look too skimpy to wear in public?
Excuse the messy room and the tousled hair XD

Wow well done, no I don't think it's too skimpy I mean it is Summer isn't it, what you could always do is add a bright coloured vest top if you wanted to cover up a little bit but I think it's great as it is.

I may have to make one myself!!! Cheesy

this is awesome! totally not too skimpy, you could even wear some long dangly necklace that would look great with it! and yeah, if you're having a self-conscious day, you could always wear a tank underneath. but i think you look great.

totally bookmarked, i'm so making one of these!

Psssh, definitely not to skimpy!
In fact, I bet it looks better that way than what you originally may have intended.

I think it looks great.! Maybe if you want you could put on a white tank or tube top underneath if you don't want to show too much chest.
