Alright I tried making a jumper style tank top
I'm still not sure how I feel about it...it makes me look a tad preggo i think

the idea was for the horizontal striped band to work as a bust enhancer and then the vertical stripes to have a slimming effect of my paunch but i feel like it slides up a bit

next time i think i might try making the band a bit wider
anyway here it is:

with waistband beltage:

no beltage (my least fave):

hip beltage:

boobie beltage:

thoughts and comments always appreciated

I totally understand the feeling that tops like this make you look preggers, I always worry about that myself, but I think it looks nice on you.  I actually don't mind the no belt look, but i'm not a huge fan of the belt around your waist, but I do like the look of the one with the belt right under the boobage.   I think it turned out right nice.   Smiley

I agree with Snootzie about the belt round your waist, but my favourite is belt round hips.
Anyway, great job however you where it.  Grin

Very cute top. The top doesn't make you look preggers (I'm glad I'm not the only one who worries about this), but I like the tie around the waist, it gives a little definition to your figure.

thank you for your comments and suggestions Smiley

yesterday the belt rode up to be halfway between the waist and the boobage belt, it seemed to look nice, I think I'll try it like that again

re: the pregs look:
when I eat my stomach balloons out (ok when I eat too much but that's pretty much every time i DO eat haha) and it seriously looked like I was pregs in a maternity top so I kept rubbing my belly going "look at ma bebe!" yeah the boy didn't like that too much...I personally though it was hilarious Tongue

I love it and I vote for the belt between boobs and waist! I know what you mean about looking preggers, but I don't think this top on you makes you look pregnant. . . Weird things happen when we sit, though. . . Odd poufs here and there. . . GREAT JOB!
