Made a skirt from my brother's old jeans... zipper closure at the side... added tulle at the bottom... pretty simple stuff but I'm happy! (Used one of the back pockets for an upside-down, functional pocket of my own!

is it made from the jean legs?
Yes from the legs, and a bit from the butt... as well as the zipper since I'm cheap and too lazy to run to the store for a new one.
is a tut possible?
Really it is just a circle skirt (ie 6 panels all the same size and shape sewn together) with a waistband. Then the tulle is roughly gathered/pleated to the hem then folded back under and sewn down. Forgot to mention that I did use fuseable interface on the sewn edge of the tulle to keep it from being too scratchy. Does that cover it all?
