I finally finished the t-shirt quilt I started 3 years ago!!! It's small - lap blanket sized- but I LOVE it!!!! (Made from 31 of my shirts from HS or 1st yr of college, an old flat bedsheet doubled in the middle, and satin blanket binding. Oh and tied with yard at the block corners!)

I like how you used shirts for both the front and back.

How did you quilt it?

So cute! And I bet it brings back so many memories when you wrap up in it.

I cheated and just tied it at each of the block corners (since they matched up on both sides)... does that get me kicked off the quilt board?

No ties are alright.  It's a cute blanket, and I'm sure it will give you good memories every time you use it. good job!

Wow, just the fact that the corners line up on both sides is amazing!  Tied qualifies as quilting in my books - especially since one of my favorite quilts (also a t-shirt quilt) is tied.
