I finally broke down and made a pair of those cute knee length pants that everyone but me has! It was my first time using a burda pattern and I loved it. (8087) It was the first pattern that fit with out any adjustments. I did change the pattern on these though, I made a tie front, back and front outside pockets and I added ruffels to the front pockets. These are so compfy that I want to make more! I do have a black pair that I made just like the pattern but I could not get them to show up good in the photo.

Why is it that I can no longer buy anything that has a slight chance I could make it myself? Even if I don't know how to make it, or it's cheaper to buy...I can no longer buy it because "I could make that myself".

They are really nice, I've always wanted to try sewing from a pattern but couldn't find one I liked, I like them though.

I really like your shorts, the length is great and they look great. I'll have to look into that pattern, because I've been trying to find one also.

Those are cute.  And I like the added ruffles on the pockets.
