thank you.
i found his bed on  a sort of ebay-site on the internet.
i dont know how old it is, but the guy where we bought it from told us that is was made in poland, and then was transported to france...then he bought it and it came to the netherlands...and now its here...in belgium.
so this bed was all over europe, lol.

OMG. That room is awesome! I'm curious as to how long it took  you to put that whole look together? Had you been shopping for materials awhile? gathering here and there? Anyways, you are amazing and I hope your son is extra nice to you for all that effort!
Super cool!  Cheesy

and about how long it took me...
when we decided to buy the house it took about 3 months before we got the key and it was really our house.
the kids picked their rooms when we were there to watch the house.
and when we came home i asked them how they would like their future rooms to be.
so i got 3 months to think of what to use and to buy the stuff.
here are the other two kidsrooms

army-themed room

girlyroom

it took 2 days to paint the walls and the wood, 1 day to put the wallmural on the wall, and 1 day to draw, cut and glue the wooden border on the wall.
some work on the treasure chest i bought....

and then we started decorating and it was finished.
