I'm pretty enough for both of us.

I really don't want to spend $168 on this charm necklace at Anthropologie.  I mean I'm not Paris Hilton and they really must be on drugs for this one's price.

So instead I made a copy with all my extra beads and charms.
It's 51 inches long with lobster claw clasps at each end.  The clasps make it simple to clip an end onto a charm to give a different look.  I did one end like that in the photo.  Simple beading: ~6mm beads in a variety of shapes with 1 to 5 seed beads in between with the occasional gold metal bead.  Put the charms on jump rings and place them where you have 5 seed beads.  I added a couple of beads onto the jump rings too.  I really didn't know how often I would wear this but it has become a favorite since it is so versital.  Total cost is way less than $168!

Wow!  You did a really good job of duplicating.  I think it looks much better than the one for $168.   Grin

So awesome! I was in Urban Outtfitters today and was outraged at all the chep crap they're trying to sell for a trillion dollars!! Stupid poorly made beaded rings for $12! and mind you the beads were plastic! and these crappy scarves and flowers that are supposed to *look* handmade...... I really can't believe people buy this stuff, don't they know they can have someone make it for less?? and the quality would probably be 100 times better... O-well.

NICE JOB!  I am a copy-cat too!  I always scope out jewelry sites to get new ideas for my own stuff!  I love it!!!    Grin
