All is good, I am waiting for jane_feebles to send me what I think is Sharre's item, but that is nothing surprising. I too am still attempting to finish cmc_aust's square, one quiet evening ought to do the trick.

Just a quick one from me before I run off again.  I have just sent an apron your way Sharre.  I will log on tomorrow with all the details and niceties, but with any luck you will have it by then anyhow.

Another quick note from me (so sorry about that, I expect to be back to my old self by mid next week).  I just got a call from home that there is an apron there waiting for me.  I am told there is a non apron item in there, don't yet know what, the boy won't tell but insists that I will love it.  It is all way to exciting, is this the first one to get back home?

What are the rules for posting pictures going to be for this.  I mean, who will be responsible for pictures of who's work on which aprons/towels/cushions?  Sorry if this has already been covered, but I did look, honest.

*sheepishly admits* that I hadn't thought about it. I have been taking photos as I complete each item but never got around to posting a gallery. I will do that now and  here it is

we can hash out here if you want to see the embroidery on your item before it returns to you.

Thanks Sharre.  Bookmarked.

I know I would not want to see anything from my item before I had received it.  But I am always a pain in the butt like that.   Tongue

If there is no overwhelming preference, then I plan on posting an action shot as well as a shot that shows off each individual's work.  What do you guys think?  I could try to get two designs in most shots, if that is deemed to be too pic heavy.  But everyone has put in so much work, I really want the finer details to be shown.

You know this could end up a much longer thread than I had originally thought.  We could have a lot of pictures as it is, but some designs will need even more pics.  The work I did on my own apron band for example, it has three distinct parts.  I tried to get it all in one shot, I failled.   Cheesy  Also, someone may have a better shot of a design than one that is already posted.  They can be tricky to photograph if your camera is less than awesome, so I don't see anything wrong with extra pics then too.  Ha, and that is just pictures.  No doubt each design has a story behind it, and we have not told them yet.  I am looking forward to that part as much as the pictures to be honest.  I think we will have a great gallery on our hands eventually.

Wandering in the wilderness, I realised I was LOST

Hey all,

I have been very remiss about this swap but there has been MASSIVE upheavals in our household this past month.  DH went on a business trip to Canada and on his way home got hospitalised in Honolulu with chest pain.  Very scary for us both, so I flew out to be with him and needless to say since I got back I've been up to my eyeballs in exam stuff for uni (thank god for special consideration is all I can say!)

So no, jane, the parcel isn't miss vicki's teatowel because that's still sitting in my embroidery basket where it was a month ago  Embarrassed  I will get onto it and have it in the post by the end of the week.

My sincerest apologies for disappearing, ladies, but like I said, unscheduled trips abroad for medical emergencies do not a conducive embroidery environment make!
