Originally, when I picked up this fabric I was just going to make a simple lounge set with an applique on a tank for her but like always I changed my mind when I played with the fabric and this is where it landed. Please be forgiving because this is the first time I did pleats using a ruffler foot from my grandmothers old machine. I believe it was from the 1940's and it fit my machine perfectly! Sorry for the blur on the first pic but it was all I snapped because my DD was grumpy because she wanted to run off and play. Too bad little one, too bad! Wink

Hehe, my older daughter had a pair but my youngest here does not fit into them yet but we received a big bag of hand me downs from a friend and guess what was there..pink cons!!! I love 'em!!

Tell me more about the "ruffler", I just did a similar ruffle last week on a pair of shorts and it was tedious to say the least..

just adorable!  did you use a pattern?  i have been trying to make a dress like this, and i have it in adult size as well as a toddler pj pattern that looked close, but isn't quite right.  either that or possibly a tute for how you got the measurements or shape for the top?   Huh
