It's well known in my family that I like to use rolls and rolls of kraft brown paper as my gift wrap every Christmas, I like the look of creating my own and you can't see through it!  This year I found a cute reindeer stamp at Walmart and some big silver bells with snowflake cutouts at the Dollar Tree store (9 for $1).  I used acrylic paint on the stamp and glued on googly eyes for fun!  Add an inital stencil drawn with a sharpie, some hemp twine and it's a wrap!

That's a really cute idea! Sometimes I use comic papers or foreign language newpapers as well.  Cool

This is such an awsome idea. The idea to put the eyes and bell on the reindeer is great!
I am going to find a reindeer stamp too!

Wow, I do the exact same thing!!! I use stencils though and it works great with the pouncing technique. My family totally raved over all of the gifts. Lots even saved the paper. I also like to buy white unfinished ceramic Christmas character decorations, paint those as well and secure them with ribbons right on the outside of the package . ..         WAS going to show a pic but I have to post 10 times first until I can post a pic . . . will make a new post later!
Yep, should be interesting this year trying to do that with a 6 month old baby! I'd better start now!

Finally got 10 posts . . . Here's my pic. I would recommend this idea to everyone! If someone's b-day or other little occassion sneaks up on you, you just have to make sure you have brown paper and misc. stencils! No need to wrap Uncle Lloyd's b-day present in bright pink "my Little Pony" gift wrap anymore!!! You will always be prepared!

Oh! your christmas girfts look so lovely!  Cheesy

But I do the exact same thing! I just wrap all my presents in brown paper and using a star shaped sponge (it's my little cousins, he didn't notice me taking it....) i just stamp gold stars all over the brown paper.

I do not believe christmas wrapping can get any easier that that. (unless your some kind of person who doesn't wrap thier gifts. in that case your wrapping is dead easy.... Roll Eyes)
