I use this jar for bringing bugs outside when I find them in my house. I call it my "spider rescue jar". I decided to be silly and paint it.

Now I won't get mixed up and put food in it.  Tongue

That's so cute! You are a better person than me, spiders in my house do not meet a happy end in a cute jar.

I also try to save bugs (except for mosquitos, ants, ear-wigs or silverfish...yes I am selective in my goodwill) and LOVE the idea of a rescue job.  PLUS your paint job is so neat/crisp.

Thanks!

I have to confess, earwigs that find their way in here do not get ushered gently back outdoors. They get flushed with extreme prejudice. lol   Everybody else either gets eaten by the cat or gets a ride in the jar.

Cute! I think I should make one of those for all the lizards my kitty brings in. He always leaves them alive but without the tails. I try not to think about where the tails are.

Omigosh, that is the cutest bug rescue jar I've ever seen (not that I've see too many...).  I love it, the jar as well as the thought behind it.

lol  That makes me glad that my kitty stays indoors. We don't have lizards here, but a pile of broken warm-blooded bodies is no more appealing.  Cats are such riffraff. I love it.

That is so cute. I love the spiderweb on the lid of it.

Spiders in my house get cups put overtop of them until I can find someone to dispose of them. I'm terrified of them.

I rescue most bugs except for small black spiders because I'm deathly afraid of them being black widows....
